At the end of each blog post, you'll find a recipe card. Click the blue "PRINT RECIPE" button.
We often suggest substitutions and variations in the blog posts or recipe notes that are tested. We recommend following the recipes exactly. If we recommend a particular brand it is best to use that particular product. Marshmallows are not all created equal. Be sure to see our Marshmallow Conversion post.
We moderate all comments to eliminate spam. Thus, it may take a couple days for us to approve and respond. If you need an answer more urgently, feel free to contact us via email (beth@hungryhappenings.com or Meaghan at thedecoratedcookie@gmail.com), which we may see more frequently. Any derogatory comments, spam, or comments with hyperlinks are deleted.
If you followed our recipes exactly without substitutions, but you're not happy with the result, you're welcome to contact us and we can troubleshoot what may have gone wrong. Most often, it's variations in ingredients among brands. Marshmallows vary greatly among manufacturers, for example. To help you determine the best way to use marshmallows depending on which brand you are using, we created this marshmallow conversion page.
At the bottom of each blog post, in the recipe card, we include the estimated calories per serving. For further information, you may copy and paste our ingredients into an online nutrition calculator.
