You may use a natural peanut butter, but be sure to mix the oil and peanut butter very, very well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also use other nut butters, although the texture may differ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MARSHMALLOWS <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>My preferred marshmallows for making rice crispy treats are the Jet-Puffed brand (either regular size or mini). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may use other brands, but keep in mind different brands have different weights. Check out our<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/howtomakecerealtreats.com\/marshmallows\/\"> marshmallow conversion chart <\/a><\/strong>to be sure you're using the right amount. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BUTTER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After extensive taste-testing, we determined the BEST butter to use in Rice Krispie Treats is European-style salted butter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RICE KRISPIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You'll need Rice Krispies of course! We stick with the classic, Kellogg's. Other brands work well, too, although we find the Target brand to be too hard and crunchy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JAM or JELLY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I used strawberry jam here. I'll also include the ratio of ingredients for a larger back, in a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3X0mdjz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">9 x 13 inch pan<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recommend using <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3P4AmKx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">non-stick cooking spray <\/a><\/strong>to grease bowls and spatulas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Line your baking pan with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NjqqM8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">non-stick foil <\/a><\/strong>or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NvUNiF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">parchment paper<\/a><\/strong>.
